It might be a little premature to recommend this book, but if the first pattern is any indication, I'm in love. :)
It's Jennifer Paganelli's Girl's World. Jennifer is the creator of Sis Boom Fabrics, which I think I'm going to have to delve into. I heart her bright, colorful designs. But, as I referenced, she's super great at creating clothing patterns. I just made her Mary's Fancy Sash dress from the book, and it was really easy and turned out great!
Okay... so I haven't completely finished it yet. There's an obvious lack of sash, and the hem isn't finished, but seriously, I did this whole thing while the girls napped! I was so excited, I forced Riley to try it on, directly out of bed (unfinished edges and all). I'm sure you can't tell, though...
So, yeah, I'm pumped to try even more of the cute things in the book. All you seamstresses out there, go get the book! I got mine at Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon. Can you say, "Bargain"??
