Tummy Time with Brooks

After the Noelle helmet/scootching fiasco, you better believe that little Brooks is going to get himself PLENTY of tummy time.  After all, the kid has started off with the most beautifully shaped head.  I'd hate to be responsible for flattening it.

Noelle had sensory issues which made tummy time even worse for her, but I don't think any kid really likes tummy time... at least initially.  Here's how Brooks started off during this afternoon's session:

However, it took roughly 30 seconds to get to this:

I'll tell ya, the kid's a sleeping champ.  I tried to wake him up, so he could practice a little head lifting, but he was having none of it.  So what's a mom to do but snap some cute pictures, especially of the puppy bum and those delicious tootsies.

The girls got back from the mall with Nana and Granddad, and they decided to join in the fun.

Noelle has adjusted much better than I thought she would.  Yes, she's been feistier and crabbier, but she really does love Brooks.  She's actually super sweet and (mostly) gentle with him.  Uh, and try to ignore Riley's crazy eyes in this shot! :)

Granddad joined in the tummy time fun, too.  Noelle was a whirl of smiles, so she blurred herself a little, but look at this happy crew!
